Directions
Wigan Pier is situated just outside the town centre on
Pottery Road.
If traveling by car please refer to the map above or for
a more extensive map see

If traveling by train, getting to the pier couldnt be
simpler.
From the North Western train station, turn left as you
exit the main doors (turn right as you exit if your arriving
at the Wallgate station across the road), in front of
you is the railway bridge and the Railway pub on your
right. Head under the bridge, across the junction heading
towards The Orwell pub and the Wigan Pier tourist attraction.
You should pass a Ford garage on your right and a hire
shop on your left. Follow the one way system round to
your left, over the canal bridge and the Pier is on your
right hand side.
Parking
If your traveling by car, as you go over the canal bridge
turn left on to Swan Meadow Road and take your first right.
This will lead you to one of our designated carparks,
the other is just off Wilcock St . We have carpark attendants
on the Swan meadow carpark who will be glad to aid you
in finding our other carpark should you have any problems.
There is also a taxi rank situated on the carpark, so
transport home should not be a problem.
